Plants pull carbon out of the air. Humans and animals turn those plants into wastes like sewage, manure, and food residues

Billions of tonnes are landfilled or burned – largely because it’s too wet or polluted to valorise – leading to carbon emissions and contamination

Kairos eliminates waste and recovers CO2, clean water, and minerals, in a fully self-powering reaction - no energy input needed. We sell these building blocks for circular use, and high-quality, durable carbon removal

Co-founder & CEO

Megha Raghavan

Megha is an experienced leader in carbon removal policy and market development, having worked for Carbon Removals @COP, Carbon Gap, the Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI), the OpenAir Collective, and others. She brings 10+ years of commercial strategy experience and holds BAs in Molecular & Cell Biology as well as Economics from UC Berkeley.

Dr. Dan Murray

Dan is an award-winning scientist with a focus on deep tech and complex multi-disciplinary processes including microalgae conversion of CO2 into high value. He’s also an award-winning serial entrepreneur, including founder of advanced wastewater treatment company I-PHYC. Dan brings 10+ years CTO / CEO experience and holds a PhD from Cranfield University.
